Greene of Plymouth in Scottsmoor, Florida. Jan. 20, Edwin T. beloved husband of 30 yr’s, Bette (Cole) Greene. Loving father of Thomas A. Greene of Jacksonville, FL., Timothy A. Greene of Vancouver, WA, Michael S. Burnham of Pembroke and Scott H. Burnham of Marshfield Hills. Grandfather of 6 and 6 nephews and 3 nieces. 2 great nephews and 4 great nieces. Brother of Carolyn Benoit of NH and the late Leslie M. Greene. Memorial service on SAT. February 11 at 11:00 am in the Church of the Pilgrimage Town Sq. Plymouth. More info and directions visit www.cartmellfuneralhome.com OBIT INFO Died Januaery 20th in Scottsmoor, Florida while vacationing. He was born on October 10,1934 and grew up in Penacook, NH. He was the son of the late Eva (Case) and Edwin T. Greene. He graduated from Penacook High School, class of 1952 and received his teaching degree in Industrial Arts from Keene State College class of 1956. He was a member of Delta Tau Gamma fraernity. He jioned the Marine Corps and graduated from OCS in Quantico, VA in 1956 and was assigned to the 1st Marine Division where he served as 7th Regiment Motor Transport Officer at Camp Pendleton, CA. until 1958. He resigned his commission in 1969 as a Captain. He was a true Marine and lived up to their motto: Semper Fidelis-Always Faithful. He began his teaching career in Duxbury Public Schools in the Fall of 1958 and served as the Deptartment Head of Industrial Arts and taught Woodworking and Graphic Arts for 36 years. He loved every minute he was with his students. During those years he also taught Driver Training and Adult Education. He was a member of the Church of the Pilgrimage , was a charter member of the Woodchucks. They made 200 toys each year for children in surrounding hospitlas at Christmas time. Ed was a member of the Plymouth Yacht Club since 1989 and loved the friends and camaraderie that he found there. His greatest enjoment was taking off with his wife in his motohome and heading south and west for the winter months. He died with his love at his side, doing what he loved best, enjoying the warm weather together.
