Obituaries
Dorothy R. (Connolly) Stenstrom of Plymouth, formerly Stoughton, passed away on December 26, 2022 at the age of eighty-three. She was the beloved wife for sixty-two years of John Stenstrom; loving mother of David Stenstrom and his wife Vanessa of New York, Denise McDermott and her husband Neil of Braintree, the late Dennis Stenstrom, Debra Pires and her husband Brian of Rhode Island, Daniel Stenstrom and his wife Annemarie of Norwood, and Diana White and her husband Kevin of Hanover. She was cherished by her 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Dorothy was the devoted daughter of the late John and Mary (Flaherty) Connolly. She was the adored sister of Sister Ann Marie Connolly SND, Patricia Lane and her late husband John, John Connolly and his wife Patricia, and the late Sister Barbara Connolly, OCarm. She was the sister-in-law of Deacon Eugene Stenstrom and his wife Carol and Robert Stenstrom and his wife Kathleen. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation on Friday, December 30, 2022, from 10:00 -11:00 am at St. Bonaventure Church, 803 State Road, Plymouth. A Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 am. The interment will take place at Blue Hills Cemetery in Braintree at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Dorothy’s name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital at www.stjude.org.
