Dorothy Marie (Madden) Smith of Plymouth formerly of Carver and Brockton died on October 10th. She is the wife of the late Theodore V. Smith. Loving mother of Sheila M. Boucher and her husband Phillip of Carver and Niantic, CT, Karen L. McIsaac and her husband Charles of Plymouth, James P. Smith and his wife Diane of Assonet, Robert J. Smith and his wife Terry of N.H. and Theodore Vance Smith of Gloucester. Sister of Barbara Willis of Norton and the late James Madden. Cherished grandmother of 24 and 27 great grandchildren.
Born in Boston, MA. June 11, 1923 a daughter of the late James and Johanna (Reagan) Madden she was educated in the Boston schools she went on to serve in the US Navy during WWII. Dorothy worked for the Boston Public Schools as Cafeteria Manager and following that she went to work for the VA doing clerical Work.
Funeral from the Cartmell Funeral Home 150 Court St. Plymouth on WED. October 15th at 10:00 am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church Plymouth at 11:00 am.
