Diane M. Simpson, age 71, of Plymouth, passed away at her home, on November 24, 2022, following a long illness. She was the loving sister of Patricia Ellis and her husband Robert of Plymouth, Mary Provonche of Plymouth, Richard Coit of Plymouth, and the late Christine Luce. She is also survived by her nieces and nephew; Sarah Curry, Patrick Provonche, and Rebekah Chandler.
Born on March 2, 1951 in Plymouth. Daughter of the late Leo Coit and Evalene (Sylvia) Wyman. Diane grew up in Plymouth and attended Plymouth Carver High School, graduating from Silver Lake High School. She was very generous and was always known as the kindest, sweetest, person. Diane loved animals and opened her home to many cats over the years.
Cremation will take place at the Vine Hills Crematory, Plymouth. Burial will follow at a later date in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Plymouth. Donations in Diane’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105 or to the Wounded Warrior Project 4899 Belfort Rd. Suite 300, Jacksonville FL 32256
