Constance C. Verre passed away peacefully, at home, surrounded by her family on January 11, 2023 at the age of 82. A longtime resident of Plymouth, she was born in North Dakota, grew up in Minnesota and moved to Plymouth in 1975 with her husband Dinny Verre.
Connie is survived by her daughter Susan Quinn, son-in-law Doug Quinn; daughter Kathleen Hochard, son Steven Verre, daughter-in-law Anne Verre and son Greg Verre, along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her brother Michael Cave, his wife Shari; brother Patrick, his wife Judy and her sister Sally with husband Rick, all still in Minnesota. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Nancy Sealey, formerly of Plymouth.
An avid football and baseball fan, she loved watching Zolak & Bertrand and dearly missed Jerry Remmy’s NESN broadcasts. She was incredibly knowledgeable about politics and could argue with the best of them, she was not biased but she certainly was no fool.
Connie graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science and worked in a number of hospital laboratories in Minnesota and Boston. She was also the founder and owner of Constance Carol Curtains, a successful business she and her husband started when they moved to Plymouth.
Connie will be greatly missed. She was a kind, humble caring person who touched so very many lives.
A visitation will be held at the Cartmell-Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home, 373 Court St (North) Plymouth, on Sunday, January 15th, from 4:00 pm till 7:00 pm. A service will take place the following day at Christ Church, Plymouth, at 11:00 am. Burial will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery at a later date.
