Clifton R. Wind of Glastonbury, Connecticut, passed away at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth on December 17, 2022 at the age of fifty-four. He was the beloved husband of Diana (Ouellette) Wind and loving father of Jillian Wind. He was the son of Danielle (Hanlon) Wind and the late Franz Wind. He also leaves Monica and Scott Cassarino who were very special to him.
Clifton was born on October 6, 1968 in Wareham, MA. He worked as a Machining Engineer for ABB, Inc. in Connecticut. He took great pride in the restoration of his family home in Plymouth, MA. He enjoyed target shooting as well as just relaxing and watching random TV shows with his daughter. He also enjoyed spending time with his two boating families. Alongside his good friends, Scott Baxter and Jim Haas – he ran the Donzi Marine Restoration Society. He also loved spending time with people at the Hartford Yacht Club. Most of all Clifton was a family man and loved his time spent with them.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Services were entrusted to the care of the Cartmell-Davis Life Celebration Funeral Homes in Plymouth, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Beagles R Us Rescue (www.beaglesrusrescue.com) because of his love for beagles.
