Clara Rosa Tanguay of Plymouth passed away on September 8th 2022 with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of forty-four years to Ronald R. Tanguay; loving mother of Cherylee Tanguay of Carver and Ronnie Tanguay Jr. of Plymouth; cherished grandmother of Brian, Tylee, Shea, Chloe, Dillon and the late Evan Raymond. She was the sister of Manny Rosa, Armando Rosa, Adri Rosa, Adi Evora, John Rosa, Aidil Arens, Ida Rosa and the late Laura Pereira. She leaves many nieces and nephews.
Clara was born on September 29, 1952 in Brava, Cabo Verde to the late Armando and Laurinda Rosa. She graduated from Hyde Park High School and received her Associates Degree from Boston Business School. She dedicated her life to her children and worked as a case coordinator at the Plymouth Probate and Family Court for over twenty five years. Clara enjoyed going to the casino, the beach, and being with family and friends. She treasured the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed. “To the world she was a mother, but to her family she was the world.”
A period of visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Cartmell-Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home, 150 Court Street, Plymouth. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 10:00 am at St. Peter’s Church, 86 Court Street, Plymouth. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 or www.stjude.org
