Charlotte A. (Warmack) Fultz, age 73, of Plymouth, passed peacefully away on Tuesday, February 7th, at her home in Plymouth with her husband and family by her side. She was the devoted and much loved wife of Donald P. Fultz. Loving mother of Dianna Smith and husband Sean of Weymouth, and Jen Fultz of Plymouth. Grandmother of Sara Mahan and her fiancé Dominic Lopez, and Douglas Mahan. Sister of Yvonne Coates of VA, Deborah Zarick and her husband Fred of Norwell, and the late Tempee Warmack, Jr., Denise Warmack, and Lenny Warmack. Charlotte is also survived by her nieces and nephew Tesa Warmack-Hartwell of MD, Allison Stack of Weymouth, Jenna Sammartino of Scituate, Sean Coates of VA, and Amanda Ford-Harvey of NC.
Charlotte was born on December 24, 1949 in Chelsea MA, daughter of the late Tempee F. and Theresa (Burke) Warmack. She grew up in Hingham and was a graduate of Hingham High School class of 1968. Charlotte first met her husband Donald at Welcome Farm Ice Cream in South Weymouth in the 1960's, and the two were later married in 1977.
Charlotte had an accomplished career in telecommunications working for several large corporations including Talbots, Stop & Shop, and Pearson. But after many years in the corporate communications world, she heard another voice calling, and in early 2000 she enrolled in the Nursing program at Cape Cod Community College, and graduated in 2004 as a Registered Nurse. She worked for many years in the field of psychiatric nursing and her RN License, just renewed in December of 2022, was still active at the time of her death.
Her life was rich and full of love for her family, and friends, and she adored her dogs Rocky, Ted and Ginger. Gardening was her favorite pastime, and she was very active in local community affairs. She and Don shared a love of travel and music, attending numerous concerts over their long years together including Neil Diamond, Roy Orbison, the Eagles, and many more. They visited many of the Caribbean islands, Europe several times, including Germany, France, and Switzerland. And they also loved their time together, closer to home in the Maritime Provinces of Canada, especially Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, and the astonishingly beautiful Cape Breton Island.
Charlotte was a strong independent thinker who marched to the beat of her own drum. She loved her own country, US history, and cherished her Acadian heritage.
Charlotte will be missed dearly by the many people whose lives she touched, and that knew, cherished, and loved her.
A visitation will be held at the Cartmell-Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St. (North) Plymouth (in front of Cordage Park), on Saturday, February 11th , from 1:00 pm till 3:30 pm. Followed by a service in the funeral home at 3:30 pm. Donations in Charlotte’s memory may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Rd. Suite 300, Jacksonville FL 32256.
