Catherine Belanger
December 21, 1942 - January 24, 2022
Catherine “Kay” (Dobson) Belanger of Sagamore Beach, peacefully passed away January 24, 2022 at BID Plymouth after years of being at her beloved home in Sagamore Beach surrounded by family.
"Kay" was the beloved wife of the late John Belanger, who was the love of her entire life and now can finally join him for eternity. Loving Mother of John Belanger and Donna Belanger; sister of Joseph Dobson, Robert Dobson and the late William Dobson. Proud and devoted grandmother of Jessica Hinds. She also leaves behind her nephews Michael and Paul Hulak and their families. She also leaves her devoted best friend of over 50 years Mrs. Phil Fuda and extended family and friends.
In her earlier life she was a loving and devoted mother/wife/sister and spent her time raising her family and caring for family members. She enjoyed traveling the world with her brother Joey and her Wednesday nights out with her friends playing Keno. Also, her daily phone calls and visits to her best friend Phil. In retirement, along with her late husband "Jack" they built their beloved home near the Cape Cod canal in Sagamore Beach. She loved and enjoyed time spent on the canal where they would walk daily. However, after the early death of Jack, the true gift and new lease on life was the birth of her only grandchild, Jessica. She helped mold and raise Jessica into the fine young lady she is today. She was extremely proud and Jess was the light of her life especially in her final years. "Love you to the moon and back Pumpkin"
A celebration of Kay's wonderful life will take place at her beloved home in Sagamore Beach at a later date. A day where the family can enjoy good weather, music, food, and drinks to celebrate her memory.
