Carolina Lagana

Carolina Lagana, age 102, of Plymouth, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 17th, surrounded by her family. She was the devoted wife of the late Chester F. Lagana. Loving mother of Maria Mosesian and her husband Kenneth of Plymouth, and the late Peter Lagana and his wife Nancy of Palm Coast FL. Grandmother of Lorraine Lagana, Chester Lagana, Michael Lagana, Constance Francis, and Christopher Mosesian. Great grandmother of Anthony, Andrew, Vincent, Domenic, Peter, Garrett, Gabriella, and Gavin.
Carolina was born in Calabria Italy on January 30, 1921. She was the daughter of the late Francesco Farina and Maria Nardo. At the age of 18 months her family immigrated to the United States. Settling in Trenton NJ where Carolina was raised. At the age of 16 she married Chester, who was the son of her mother's best friend. She and Chester also raised their family in Trenton. She later moved with her daughter to Connecticut and finally to Plymouth in 2004. Carolina's whole life was family. She devoted herself to loving and taking care of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
