Barbara May (French) Henderson of Plymouth, died peacefully with the love of her family at her side on January 9th. Born in Lynn, Massachusetts on January 15, 1942, daughter of the late Carl and Esther (Peaver) French. Educated in the Lynn schools where she grew up before moving to the South Shore area. Barbara was a longtime employee of the Bank of Boston.
She is the loving mother of Cathy Gardner and her husband David of Kingston, Valerie Williamson and her husband Steven of Plymouth, Marrie Crocker and her husband Jeff of Florida and Doreen Henderson of Marshfield, Richard Henderson and his wife Robin of Georgia and the late John Henderson. Grandmother of Jennifer Pearl, Holly Crocker, Melanie Crocker, Jeffrey Crocker, Lindsey Rogers, Jessica Tracy, Joseph Gardner, Heather Henderson, Donnie Henderson, Michele Byron, Christopher Henderson, Jessica Boyde, Jamie Blackden and the late Jerry Henderson and Rita Henderson. And several great grandchildren. She was the aunt of Chris Henderson and was the niece of the late Laura Pevear.
Barbara enjoyed her time spent with her extended family and her many trips to Foxwoods. She enjoyed antiquing, music, shopping and playing cards. She was a long time member of the Salvation Army of Plymouth.
Visiting hours in the Cartmell-Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home 373 Court St. North Plymouth (Near Cordage Park) on Tuesday January 17th from 4-6 pm. Burial will be private at a later date at Pine Grove Cemetery in Lynn.
