Obituaries
Barbara A. Ferioli, age 84 years, of Plymouth, died Saturday, September 18, 2021, at Beth Israel-Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth. She was the former wife of Ronald J. Ferioli, and the daughter of the late Paul and Anna (Pedrini) Warnsman. Born on August 20, 1937 in Plymouth, she was a graduate of Plymouth High School and Bridgewater State College. She went on to further her studies at Leslie College where she earned her Masters Degree in early childhood education. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi, a social and service organization. Barbara worked as a kindergarten teacher for many years at Indian Brook School in Manomet. When she was younger, she was a ballerina. Barbara enjoyed knitting, traveling and being with her family and friends. She loved the theater and counted “Wicked” and the “The Nutcracker” among her many favorites. She could always be counted on for a wonderful smile and extending her positive attitude to all. Barbara lived life to the fullest and she lived a happy life.
She will be forever missed by her four daughters, Lisa Crociati and her husband Douglas of Plymouth, Wendy Siwik of Plymouth, Amy Rosen and her husband Michael of Tahoe City, CA, and Alison DeMarco and her husband Jim of Plymouth. She was the beloved “YaYa” to her five grandsons, Jake Crociati, Matthew Siwik, Xander Rosen, Seth Rosen and Brady Hurvitz. She also leaves her dear sister-in-law, Karen Burgess of Plymouth, as well as her cousins and many friends.
Her funeral will be held from the DAVIS LIFE CELEBRATION FUNERAL HOME, 373 Court Street, Plymouth) (next to Cordage Park) on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 9:30AM followed by a funeral mass at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Church, South Meadow Rd., Plymouth at 10:30AM. Interment will be in Vine Hills Cemetery, Plymouth. Visitation with Barbara’s family will be on Friday from 4:00PM – 7:00PM.
