Anne Theresa Gallant Nolan, died peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on Christmas Day in her home.Born in Brockton, MA March 30th, 1944. Daughter of the late John and Rita Gallant of Plymouth, MA. Loving wife of William F. Nolan, mother of William F Nolan Jr., Brian and Maria Nolan, Brendan and Jennifer Nolan, Krista Nolan and husband Mark Nardone,and Kara Nolan and husband Christopher Abernathy.
Adoring grandmother to; Thomas and Mikaela Nolan ; Connor, Brooke, and Austin Nolan; Norah, Audrey, and Liam Nolan; Matthew and Sarah Nardone; and Julia and Lily Abernathy.Anne is survived by her siblings, Mary Ellen Walsh, Rita Gallant, Jerry Gallant, Johnny Gallant, Julie Gallant, and Nancy Bond.
Anne was part of the first graduating class at Cardinal Spellman in 1962, and she attended Framingham State College. Anne married her husband Bill in 1965, and they began their journey together.
While raising her five children she was also instrumental supporting the family business. She loved to cook, go to the beach, and travel, but most of all loved to be with her children, their spouses and her 12 grandchildren.
She was well known for showing up at any party with her legendary homemade Cheesecakes, she would bring them by the dozen.
Anne was a lifelong active member of St. Bonaventures Parish, when she was not crocheting or sewing, you would find her amongst her friends in Manomet or Northport, FL enjoying a game of Mahjong.
Visiting hours in the Cartmell - Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home 619 State Rd Plymouth (Manomet) on Friday December 30th from 3-8 pm. Funeral mass on Saturday December 31st at 10 :00 am in St Bonaventure Church , Manomet. Private burial in Manomet Cemetery at a later date.
