Althea M. G. Stolpner, of Plymouth formerly of Canton, January 22nd, beloved wife of the late Walter C. Stolpher and the late William T. Callahan. Loving mother of Althea Krikorian of Brewster, Ruth Short of Florida, and Jane Raymond of Ashland, N.H. William A. Callahan of Las Vegas, James F Callahan of Texas and Jack Callahan of Manomet, and the late Paul David Callahan. Stepmother of Paul Stolpner of Norton, Jeffrey Stolpner of Manomet, Richard Stolpner of Arlington, Joan Hussey of Brockton and Diane Monahan of Foxboro. Sister of Alfred Gorham Jr. of Chelmsford, Doris Abreu of Florida and Anne Scott of Maryland. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Born in Dedham, July 23, 1918 a daughter of the late Alfred M. and Ruth (Lawton) Gorham. Educated in the Chelmsford schools she had worked as a Secretary in Development at Jordan Hospital from 1975 till 1990. She was also a volunteer at Jordan Hospital. Past President of the Manomet Women's Club and St. Bonaventure Women's Guild. She was involved in the fund raising for the building of St. Bonaventure Church. She also served as a Den mother. Funeral from the Cartmell Funeral Home 150 Court St. Plymouth on Tuesday at 9:00 am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Bonaventure Church Manomet at 10:00 am , Visiting hours on Monday from 4- 7 pm only.
