Adrienne M. (Nunes) Kishkis of Plymouth, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2022 at the age of seventy-five. Adrienne was born on January 21,1947 in Cambridge and was the oldest daughter of the late Ismael and Alice (Silva) Nunes.
She leaves behind her beloved daughter, Lynda Kishkis of Waltham; brother-in law, Dennis Perry of Plymouth; nephews, Matthew Perry and his wife Jessica of Plymouth and Joel Perry and his wife Candace of Attleboro; cherished great niece, Brooke, and great nephews, Nate, Max and Morgan. She also leaves behind many cherished family and friends. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Wally (1982) and her best friend and adoring sister, Lorraine Perry (2021).
Adrienne grew up in Somerville and graduated in 1965 from St. Joseph High School. She met her husband Wally while hanging out with friends at Brigham’s Ice Cream in Cambridge – their love of ice cream drew them together. After a long courtship, Adrienne and Wally married in the early 1970’s and soon after their nuptials they settled in Boylston.
She began her career at Polaroid in 1966 and worked there for over 4 decades. During her tenure, she was promoted several times. Adrienne decided to leap into the collegiate life by earning her Bachelor’s Degree in 1997 from Lesley University, whilst being a full-time Mother and Polaroid Customer Service Manager.
Adrienne was a sophisticated woman that loved to decorate her home, spoil her many animals and spend quality time with family and friends. She also was a dedicated Catholic who enjoyed going to Church every week. Another one of her favorite things to do was to engage in political discourse, she could debate with anyone.
Adrienne loved life and was a devoted Mother, Aunt and Friend.
A period of visitation will take place on Friday, December 9, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Cartmell-Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home, 619 State Road, Plymouth (Manomet). A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 10:00 am at St. Bonaventure Church, 803 State Road, Plymouth (Manomet). The burial will take place at a later date.
